The paintings displayed were being created by Alexander Baryshnikov for a certain time period.

In 1991 he painted his first still-lifes and landscapes. The simplicity of themes fitted the perception of people who surrounded the painter and asked him questions about the reason of being and the world structure.

Eventually people asked the painter new questions, and he reflected the answers in his new paintings which describe the painter’s perception of the world with more vivid imagery.
